And until that changes, you’ll continue to experience unnecessary friction in the areas that matter most to you.
It’s why your confidence fluctuates, some relationships are strained, decision making can be exhausting, emotional reactions are often disproportionate to the situation, and your direction in life feels scattered.
But fear not! You aren’t broken…
You just need a clearer lens.
And Powered by PURPOSE was created to address that very issue through a faith-rooted approach that gets to the root of all behavior: perception.
Why?
Because our perception shapes everything.
It shapes how we interpret ourselves → others → our circumstances → and even God.
And when it’s distorted everything feels harder than it needs to be:
- Insecurities drive behavior
- Self-condemnation gets projected onto others
- Judgment of others strains relationships
- Feedback feels like a personal attack
- Emotional reactions don’t reflect our intentions
These aren’t personal flaws…
They’re distorted perceptions, and distorted perceptions create unnecessary friction everywhere they show up,
But the good news is - perception can be corrected, and once it is everything else falls into place!
Not overnight - and not through positive thinking…
Through evidence based self-examination.
Because the truth is - how we see ourselves doesn’t stay contained within us, it becomes the lens through which we relate to everyone else.
If we’re impatient with ourselves, we tend to become impatient with others.
If we’re constantly judging ourselves, we often judge others too.
And if we’re unwilling to examine our own assumptions, we’ll struggle to receive correction from anyone - including God.
That’s why this work matters, and that’s why I created Powered by PURPOSE.
Not as another personal development program or productivity system,
And certainly not as another framework that asks you to force yourself into someone else’s definition of success.

While most approaches focus on behavior first…
