One of the hardest truths I’ve had to face is that people don’t experience my intentions, they experience my behavior.
There was a season of my life when I lived in chronic survival mode, and although my heart was usually in the right place, the people around me often had to look past my reactions to see it.
Eventually I realized that asking people to constantly interpret my intentions wasn’t fair, and if I cared about my relationships, I needed to understand what was actually driving my behavior.
If you see yourself in any of that then check out this episode, where we unpack:
Where our stress comes from, how it turns into survival mode, and how it impacts the way we relate to others.
