What if People Aren't Misunderstanding You

People don't experience your intentions, they experience your behavior, and chronic survival mode changes it. Here's how you heal the disconnect between your heart and how you show up with others.

One of the hardest truths I’ve had to face is that people don’t experience my intentions, they experience my behavior.

There was a season of my life when I lived in chronic survival mode, and although my heart was usually in the right place, the people around me often had to look past my reactions to see it.

Eventually I realized that asking people to constantly interpret my intentions wasn’t fair, and if I cared about my relationships, I needed to understand what was actually driving my behavior.

If you see yourself in any of that then check out this episode, where we unpack:

Where our stress comes from, how it turns into survival mode, and how it impacts the way we relate to others.
